Suzanne grew up locally in Dun Laoghaire and qualified as a Registered General Nurse, in 1985, in St Michael’s Hospital. She has a wide range of nursing experience including neonates, accident & emergency, practice nursing, health screening, management and childhood health & development. She has volunteered in Romania & Lourdes working with children with special needs and in New Zealand with children affected by family violence.
In 2008 Suzanne and her husband Greg decided to move to New Zealand for a year and have recently returned after 11! Her adventures along the way have includes learning to ski, keeping alpacas, highland cows, pigs and enjoying lots of travelling plus experiencing the occasional earthquake! As well as working as a practice nurse Suzanne helped set up and run a business health service offering medicals and vaccinations to businesses throughout Christchurch. During her last four years there she worked within the community carrying out health screening and development checks on babies and children.
Suzanne joined Dun Laoghaire Surgery in August 2019 on her return from New Zealand & has a keen interest in chronic disease management, cervical screening and child health.
